Pick of last week (ending February 25, 2011)
Hello from Inside! Last week I failed to post the blog. Sorry about that.
Recently there have been anti-government movements going on in countries that have been under dictatorship for a long time, such as Libya. So last week, iUniv picked up some video materials that have something to do with dictatorship and democracy.
Perhaps techno-savvy iUniv students are interested in these videos:

Activism in the Electronic Age: The Impact of Technology on Political Protest
http://iuniv.tv/top/episode/eid/6006/pid/469As with the recent case with Egypt, current communication technology has been playing a major role in political activities. It probably took over radio (such as Radio Free Europe, which is still prominent) in a way… But I do agree with Ms. Gheytanchi (one of the speakers in the latter video) who said, “You can’t have a revolution with a click here and a click there…” ;-) Some people just enjoy being in the Twitter loop. This tendency can be applied not only with political activities but also whenever a piece of information circulates around the globe. With so much information technology available, we really have to use our brains to figure out how to utilize the information…
