Hello from Inside!  Long time no blogging.  Sorry about that.

Winter has been very cold around the globe.  A friend who lives in Finland wrote to Insider that she has been experiencing -25 Celsius these days.  Another friend from Sweden blogged that at her house the thermometer marked -28 degrees.  Japan has been cold but maybe we shouldn’t complain… although Insider caught cold.  Everyone be careful!

By the way, last week was Grammy Week so Insider picked up some music-oriented videos and audio files from the iUniv classes.

    Stanford University
Stanford Technology Ventures Program - Tracks
Music Artists Go Entrepreneurial - Tony Perkins (AlwaysOn Panel)

This audio file features the great Quincy Jones III!  With a groovy talking style, he talks about the effect of YouTube, UStream, MySpace etc…  He mentions that it has become easy for everyone to become an artist or a blogger, but that does not necessarily contribute to the actual quality of music (he does not ‘quote’ so, but Insider thinks that’s what he implies).  A very interesting 60+ minutes.

    Berklee College of Music
    Music Lessons- IV

    Inside SXSW with Berkleemusic

Although Internet has made the music world smaller, seeing the artists and business people live is always the best way to connect with one another.  SXSW has played a very important role in this sense, and Berklee reports the inside of this huge event.
