Hello from Inside! I was supposed to post this last Friday but somehow failed…  Sorry about that. This past week, iUniv featured a couple of videos related to the Nobel Prize and the Ig Nobel Prize, in conjunction with two brilliant Japanese doctors winning the Nobel Prizes this year.  Congratulations to doctors Suzuki and Negishi!

So here are the two videos Insider was especially interested in:

Bocconi University (Sorry, this is actually Boston University.  Wonder why this happened…)
Events & Outside the Campus- I
Where Nobel Economists Put Their Money
    http://iuniv.tv/top/episode/eid/1450/pid/115

When you win a Nobel Prize, you will win 10 million Swedish kronas per category.  (i.e., in doctors Suzuki and Negishi’s case, they will share the 10 million kronas.)  A Nobel economist must be extremely good at financial management!  But turns out that those people on this video are not really keen about financial management information.  Perhaps the best tip is not to care too much about it and just forget that there actually is money, so that you don’t waste on it. :-)

    Another video…

Ig Nobel Awards Roadshow 2009 at Imperial College London

Check other roadshows (2007 and 2008) if you are interested.  This is hilarious!!!  All those people who are specialists in their respected fields (NOT in a funny way but very serious way) make their funny reports in humorous ways.  Also a must-see is the cute little “Ms. Sweetie Pooh”.
