Hello from Inside - Sorry that Insider has been out for a while.
iUniv has expanded its contents these days; please check back often and enjoy various courses from every genre.
We have recently added a very unique course from Chuo University:
知の回廊 (Corridor of Wisdom)

*Note: There is another playlist named 知の回廊 which is basically the same as this one, only that this one has all 46 episodes. The other one may be deleted shortly.
This is a joint project of Chuo University and Hachioji Cable Television. They made Chuo’s intellectual property into an educational program. Each program features a professor from Chuo. The type of episodes vary. Those ones currently on the “Top Features” of the iUniv page (http://iuniv.tv/) are two linguistic episodes and two sociological episodes. For those top-featured episodes, Insider has added some brief translations so that non-Japanese speakers may have a little idea of what they are discussing about. Insider’s personal recommendation is episode #46 「大相撲ことば対談」 (Grand Sumo language talks) where an ex-rikishi (now oyakata, one of the masters) explains the words that originate from the sumo world. The translation Fusens can be seen on the old playlist: http://iuniv.tv/top/episode/eid/67203/pid/4068
